REDUCED FOOD WASTE
– OUR TOP PRIORITY

Food waste poses a huge challenge to the entire food industry. Everyone – from primary producer to end customer – needs to take their share of responsibility. In a circular economy, where all resources must be fully and efficiently utilised, we cannot accept that around 1/3 of all food produced is allowed to go to waste. (Source: Swedish Food Agency).

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS
AND MATERIALS

Our ambition is always to offer products that are flavoursome, fresh and safe. Guaranteeing the high quality of our products also means making high demands on the packaging. We are working constantly to develop new, more sustainable and resource-efficient packaging solutions. For example, we support long-term sustainable forestry by choosing only FSC and PEFC-certified raw materials for the card and paper contents in our packaging.

OUR TAKE ON PLASTICS

Plastics help to keep our products fresh and, by doing so, reduce food waste. However, we aim to minimise our use of plastics and are working hard to develop packaging solutions that are 100 % recyclable. The plastics in which our small-leaf salads and VegMe protein products are packed are already fully recyclable.
